Nuts & Bolts of Private Practice
with Cathy Hanville
Cathy Hanville grew up in NJ which is actually a pretty nice state all in all and went to school at Rutgers. She moved out to CA shortly after grad school on a bit of a whim and spent 8 years doing social work in a variety of settings. She then realized she didn’t play so well with others and started her private practice in 2001. She did many things wrong as there wasn’t an internet to learn about how to start a practice then. In 2011 she moved her practice to Albany,Ca closer to her home. She specializes in helping those with anxiety and also works a lot with transgender clients. She is level II trained in EMDR. Since her move to Albany when she learned a lot to market her own practice she has been doing small workshops on private practice issues and doing some individual coaching. She loves teaching others more about these business and marketing aspects of practice.
We look forward to seeing you on October 3rd.
